Conference Information 2004

Bukhari Graduation Ceremony 2004

This year's Bukhari Completion and student graduation ceremony was indeed a blessing for all those who participated in this yearly event. There were speeches in English and Urdu from Ulema and Mashaikh aswell as recitation from the Holy Quran and Naats. The final few Hadeeth of Sahih al Bukhari were read and the final dua was performed thereafter.

May Allah accept the efforts and sacrifice of all those who gave their time and support in organising and conducting this programme for the benefit of the people of the UK and abroad and accept the efforts of all the graduating students of Ilm, Huffaz and Qurra. May Allah enable these efforts to be a means of salvation for all involved, their families, relatives, friends and indeed all of mankind. Ameen.

Please make dua that Allah (swt) gives us all the Towfeeq (ability) to assist and partake in the next Bukhari Graduation Ceremony 2005 - please make your localities aware of this pre-Ramadhan programme for 2005 and come back here before the conference to this page for the confirmed dates and details. Saturday 25th September 2004 (Women)
Sunday 26th September 2004 (Men-BELOW)

The students of United Kingdom’s foremost sisters-only Islamic University, Jaamiatul Imaam Muhammad Zakaria, are nearing the end of their academic year and will shortly be completing the teaching of the six most authentic books of hadeeth. A completion and graduation ceremony has been organised so that sisters from across the UK may have an opportunity to participate in the final lesson of hadeeth. Such a gathering is held annually, and in previous years it has been one of the largest gatherings of sisters in the UK.

Amongst the activities that take place during this ceremony are lectures by fully qualified and capable female scholars on a variety of important subjects. Lectures will be delivered in English and Urdu.

The annual gathering is a unique opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and spend time in a purely Islamic environment in the company of the pious thereby increasing one’s iman and knowledge. Great benefit can be derived during the course of the day from the intellectual input and spiritual guidance of female scholars.

Please come yourself and invite others for the Holy Prophet, may peace & blessings be upon him, said: ‘Whomsoever guides towards a goodness, will get virtues equal to the one who performs that goodness.’ [Muslim]

There is no charge for the conference with meals provided free.

During the day there will be opportunities to purchase a large variety of Islamic goods such as audio lectures, books, clothing, including hijabs.

About Jaamiatul Imaam Muhammad Zakaria

All lessons are taught in a professional manner by learned and qualified female scholars in a traditional but adaptable way, observing all requirements for hijaab as a priority.
